Have a nice time of day, Friends. On the Internet, I came across one very useful device for jigsaw. This tool can replace the miter saw, while it is easy to manufacture and very useful. And now I will show the author’s idea. Happy viewing.
What materials and tools the author needed can be seen and read in the article itself.
Author's drawings:
Step 1: First, the author found a suitable wooden board. Then, putting the jigsaw on the board, he measured 15 mm from each edge. Then, with the help of a milling cutter, he made a longitudinal groove. He will play the role of a guide for jigsaw.
Step 2: Then along the edges of the workpiece, the author glued one small block. Exactly in the center of these blocks, we make one through hole. Then we cut off two pieces of metal from a metal tube as long as the thickness of the board. And we press them into the holes made earlier.
Step 3: Then the author, assembled a stand from boards and plywood. Then, on the stand, he put the workpiece that he had done earlier, and drilled holes according to the marking, as shown in the photo. He screwed Insert M6 nuts into the holes, and into them screwed small segments of the stud.
Step 4: Next, placing the jigsaw in the groove, he marked the center where the jigsaw should stand. Then, after drilling a hole, he made a longitudinal cut, as shown in the photo. Then he drilled two more holes on the workpiece at a short distance from each other, and made a cut with a jigsaw, as in the photo, so that it could be cut at an angle of 45 °.
Step 5: Next I made a marking, and on it I screwed one block, which will serve as an emphasis, in order to cut the boards at a right angle. In another place, with the help of a protractor, he measured the angles of 45 °, 90 °, 135 °. And he made such a detail as shown in the photo. Then he made a clamp, for the part, so that the guide does not stray.
And he made such "sheep".
In such a tricky way, he made a very useful device.
