Step One: Lamp Preparation
For homemade need an incandescent lamp. A burned one will do. Removes the ceramic insulator from the base (you can
smash or grind). Removes the insides of the lamp, glass tubes, thread.
Step Two: Holder
It removes insulation from a single-core copper wire. Screws a copper core onto a crystal.
Step Three: LEDs
For the night lamp, the master uses three LEDs. Twists anodes of LEDs into one core. The cathode bends at 45 degrees. Then inserts the LEDs into the holder. Solders to the cathode holder. Solder a copper wire to the anode. On the back of the holder, it is applied transparent silicone and inserts a crystal.
Step Four: Installation
Next, you need to place the holder inside the bulb. Inserts the holder into the lamp and makes a mark on the copper wires. Take out the holder. Bites off the extreme copper wire (cathode). Flatten the ends of the wire. He puts a rubber washer on the wire, after making cutouts. Installs the holder in the light bulb. It bends and solders cathodes to the base. Solder is soldered to the anode wire.
Step Five: Potentiometer
Drills holes for mounting a potentiometer. Performs electrical installation. We look at the last photo from the power supply: positive wire (red) - lamp base (cathode), negative wire (black) - middle contact of the potentiometer - leftmost contact of the potentiometer - resistor - center of the cartridge (anode).
