Portable car headlight for illuminating work areas

New life of an old car headlight.

Hello.
IN the garage found a lit up headlight, in my opinion from a Zaporozhets car. I decided to put it into action, so that it can be mounted in any place for lighting.

The following materials and tools will be required:
headlamp
plumbing. trumpet
clamp clamp
10 watt LED with driver
aluminum plate and I found an aluminum cable clip and made a radiator out of it
mini wire switch
soldering iron
riveter
drill
paint

Go

I rivet the plate and clamp

In the pipe, I drill three holes for the M5 screws to fix the headlight by turning it to the left side

Next I screw the clamp to the pipe on the lamb M5

I solder a 10-watt LED to the driver

I make a seat for the switch

I attach the LED to the plate on hot glue

I solder everything and fasten inside the pipe

Next, I clean the headlight and process the zinc

I am preparing for painting

I paint

Headlight ready

With the help of a clamp, the headlight can be fixed anywhere and turned in the right direction

The result was a great highlight. Thank you all for watching.

Here is a short video of work

Serguh,
Yes, they glued here already ... It was ...

It's okay, I thought you misunderstood, because if the LED is glued to the glue snot - this is nonsense, after 10 seconds it will float away.
I apologize ... It was me inattentively, reading fluently, I thought not about hot glue, but about "hot glue" ...
here, just somewhere recently, someone mounted diodes on it ... So it stuck in my head ....)))

The thought was like that, but for the car there is another compact 12v backlight that lies in the trunk in its place.
And this is specifically a garage.

Than hot glue is worse than wood screws, she doesn’t need to hammer in nails but she needs to shine.

thermal properties, strong adhesion.
thermal conductivity:> 0.671w / m-k thermal
net weight: 5g
strength of connected buildings: 1,5 map
And more "thinks" ...
Didn’t think of somehow organizing the winding of the cord? ... It would be more convenient during transportation ...
And the second one is a 12-volt diode ... You can think about adding a direct output with "crocodiles" (via current-limiting resistance) in parallel ... Then it would be possible to use in the car ....
This is already so ... A "raw thought" for a possible "well-made" homemade ...
The thing turned out to be useful, of course ....

And is it possible, as Delausyus used to say, to “poke” a little? boss

I attach the LED to the plate on hot glue

But it would be necessary for the screws through thermal grease ... It would be possible then to shine for a long time, and not for a short time ...
