Good afternoon. Today I will tell you how to remake a regular flashlight into a headlamp, for this we need:
- Ordinary plastic flashlight
- Box for two li-io batteries
- Drill
- Hacksaw blade
- Marker
- Insulating tape
- Soldering iron
- 18650 battery
- PVC edge
- Elastic
- Foam rubber
Step one
To begin, we will analyze the old flashlight.
My battery was old, so I removed it. I soldered two contacts to the wires and connected another suitable battery (in my case, 18650), I just wrapped two contacts with electrical tape observing the polarity.
Now we check, everything works. Now proceed to the next step.
Second step
We make the case. we cut out a slot under the switch in the box. Then cut off the front of the flashlight.
Then we put the battery in the box, glue the switch.
We put the LEDs in the front part and glue it.
Step three
We make fastening. From the PVC edge we cut out the mount with two eyes. We stick foam rubber or other soft material of small thickness.
Fourth step
Now we sew the elastic and check how it works.
