Have a nice time, Lord! Today I will show and tell you how to make a cannon, model 1812, from cardboard and wood do it yourself. Such a cannon can shoot metal balls, or what you charge into it. This homemade It’s not difficult to manufacture, and its implementation will take a maximum of an hour. But you can play with it (observing safety precautions) and imagine the war of 1812. Have a nice viewing!
Necessary materials:
- cardboard
- rounded wooden block
- matches
- a tube from juice
- skewer
The manufacturing principle and combat test, you can see the video:
Step 1: First, draw 3 circles on the cardboard. The diameter of the large - 90 mm, medium - 80 mm, small - 20 mm. Next, draw 4 knitting needles, as shown in the photo. Using a clerical knife, we cut out 4 identical wheels.
Then we glue the two blanks together, cross to cross. And we get 2 wheels, the future gun.
Step 2: Next we need to cut 6 blanks, and glue them together, as shown in the photo. We attach the workpiece to the wheels, using wooden steps and hot-melt adhesive.
Step 3: make the barrel. Cut off a rounded wooden block, 120 mm long. And we make a through hole, I made a diameter of 4.5 mm. The diameter depends on the diameter of the projectile you want to shoot. At one end we make a stub. We drill a hole on the side to insert the wick.
Step 4: Next, cut out the blanks that are shown in the photo. Unfortunately, there are no sizes, because I did it using the "poke" and "by eye" methods. Next, we glue the parts into one blank, the so-called bed.
Step 5: Glue the workpiece that was made in the previous step to the wheel axis. And glue the barrel in special grooves.
Step 6: We make a wick. Cut a piece of tubule from the juice. We fuse one edge with a lighter and a thin-nose pliers. Then pour sulfur from the matches, and melt the end.
Step 7: Insert the wick, pour sulfur into the barrel of the gun, insert the projectile, set fire to and PLI!
Thanks for attention!
