The author will demonstrate another way to apply texture to the rod.
The method is very simple. For this, it is not necessary to produce a special tool for applying notches.
Necessary tools and materials:
Horn
Bulgarian.
Disks for metal.
Scrap metal brush for grinder.
Plain metal brush.
Ticks and the like fixtures.
Of course, gloves for working with hot metal.
Vise.
Steel rods of different diameters (10 mm or more).
Welding machine and accessories.
In the manufacture of vines and grape bark, the author will use round rods with a diameter of 14 mm.
First of all, with the help of a grinder, the author makes longitudinal recesses.
It is necessary to make them continuous along the entire length of the bar.
Although it depends more on your imagination, and the result.
Welds to each side of the workpiece by cutting a square rod.
This is done with the aim of convenience of creating a rotational force.
Actually the beginning of the process. In the hearth, a small portion of the workpiece warms up.
Clamps the bottom welded rod in a vice.
And twists.

After one section has twisted, heats the next section again.
And he spins it the other way.

Of course, the use of this type of application of notches of the texture will be difficult when using a large number of linear meters.
But for small products, or in small quantities - this technology of forming patterns is quite suitable. The patterns look very natural and beautiful.
