When preparing refreshing or alcoholic drinks, carbon dioxide is released.
And somehow it needs to be controlled so that as little air as possible gets into the inside.
Someone puts on a rubber glove on the bottle, during fermentation and the release of carbon dioxide, it rises.
And after the completion of the fermentation process, it slowly drops.
Someone just slowly bleeds gas through the lid.
But in my opinion a simple water shutter that does not need daily supervision.
And I made it out of the plain rubbish available in every apartment.
And so here is what we need:
An ordinary plastic bottle (in my case it is one and a half liters).
A bigger bottle with a wide lid, I have a six liter bottle.
A piece of PVC pipe, about 15 centimeters.
Plumbing.
Look for a PVC pipe with an outer diameter of 22 mm.
It fits perfectly with the inner diameter of the neck of a small bottle.
Somehow the cut off neck was lying around me.
And around it in a circle with a marker I marked a future hole on a large lid.
With a clerical knife, cut a hole in the lid.
Then cut 15-20 cm from the neck of the bottle.
Pull the trim onto the large lid with the hole.
We make a hole in the cap of a small bottle, no matter what diameter.
On the inside, through the sanitary napkin we twist the lid.
Now insert the PVC tube into the neck of the bottle until it hits the bottom cover.
We unscrew the cap, and disassemble the design.
On the neck of the bottle cutter we wrap a little plumbing sealant.
Put silicone on tow, and tightly assemble everything back.
Now it remains only to pick up the cap.
He should fit on the tube quite freely, I don’t know why I have a cap, but it fits perfectly.
We wind a water lock on a bottle with a mash, we throw a cap and fill the funnel with half water.
Gas will raise the cap, and go down and the water will not allow air to get inside.
By the way, such a shutter can also be attached to large caps from three and ten liter bottles.
