I already made a similar case for a flash drivesteampunk flash drive steampunk flash drive motor who are interested, you can take a look with one eye!))) And so back to the lighter, for the body for the lighter I bought a plumbing adapter and a nut cap in the plumbing store.
I soldered the nuts from Soviet radio parts (some kind of strap for attaching wires) to the nut to simulate the engine cylinders from copper wire, laid a "gas pipeline".
Then, from the spare part from the old crane, I began to make the reverse part of the engine lighter
Done everything unnecessary and machined a silicon tube holder from an old nut
I soldered all the parts into one piece and drilled holes for the next stage.
From brass bolt to 8mm. machined a part for attaching a wick of a lighter.
Then, from a sheet of brass, I cut and bent a part for attaching the plug (cover) of the wick
The lid for the wick was assembled from a piece of tubing with 8mm threaded thread. (as on a bolt) a grooved bolt twisted into it and from the same brass plate bent the second part of the fastening to which a piece of tube was soldered
From a tube and a piece of sheet brass made mounts for a wheel and silicon
After that, all the parts were cleaned and patina was applied using ammonia (aka ammonia).
Then lightly polish (so as not to erase the patina) and the entire lighter is ready!))
Thank you all for your attention to my craft! Come visit soon will be new crafts. Bye Bye!
