Hello everybody. I want to bring to your attention the simplest option for highlighting the working area for the Bosch POF 1200 AE hand milling machine. Its main advantage is simplicity and the fact that the possibility of warranty repair of this tool is not violated (violation of the design is not required).

For starters, not a big comment on the router itself.
The Bosch POF 1200 AE milling cutter belongs to the class of the tool of personal (household) appointment (green Bosch tool series). For home use it is enough, even with a margin. But unlike the professional (blue) Bosch tool series, it uses cheaper, that is, lower-quality materials (respectively, and the price is several times lower). But there are unnecessary lotions, such as a rotor lock button. This “convenience” can become a big problem in the future. Namely, in case of thread souring or a slightly greater use of force when tightening the collet clamping nut, the rotor rotates, as a result of which it will be practically impossible to fix the rotor and remove the cutter. Will have to either cut off the valve cover or require almost complete disassembly of the tool.
Pay attention to valve damage. Since it is made of fairly soft metal.
It makes no sense to remake the valve to a better metal, then the rotor will deteriorate.
For this (on the advice of specialists from the service center) I recommend removing the cover with the valve immediately after purchasing the tool. It must be removed very carefully since screws can be (most often) missed with a threaded lock.
The screws are also made of fairly soft metal, when unscrewing, most likely damage the caps. Just then buy 4 screws with M4 thread, under the bit PH2, 18-20mm long. installation of this design in place may be required if warranty repairs are necessary!
Now, the replacement of the cutter will be carried out as with most professional tools, that is, with the help of two keys (see photo).

The board is made of single-sided fiberglass, the insulating gasket is cut out of the box from a DVD or other suitable plastic exactly along the circuit of the printed circuit board.
LEDs 4 pcs. (5mm white light, bright) are installed on the board at a distance of 4-5mm, for the possibility of correcting the direction of the light flux.They will have to be slightly bent towards the rotor. 4pcs resistors 0.25 W 100 Ohm used (based on PSU voltage of 5V). The connection of the LEDs in conjunction with the resistors is parallel. Resistors can always be counted, depending on the power supply at hand.
When mounted on a milling cutter, between the printed circuit board and the insulating gasket, washers with a 4 mm hole of insulating material 1-1.5 mm thick are installed.
The board is attached with two M4 screws with a head for manual tightening (for convenience).

The wire from the PSU on the board is attached using a thick thread, then it is smeared with glue. The length of the wire should preferably correspond to the length of the wire of the router.
