When processing parts, it becomes necessary to fix them. The problem is that not every detail can be clamped in a vice or fixed with clamps. Such fixation can damage the part, or create inconvenience in its processing. To facilitate the fixation of parts, the Master came up with a simple, inexpensive and effective device. Of course, the clamp does not replace the use of the usual vice, clamps, etc., but will complement a number of fixing devices.
Tools and materials:
-Cuff under the toilet flush tank;
- fitting;
-Hose;
- clamp;
Epoxy resin;
-Board;
-Vacuum pump.
Everything is very simple, so there’s no point in painting steps.
You need to take the board, cut out the grooves in it and fix the bars in the grooves. This is necessary for further installation of the device on the desktop. Next, the master glues the cuff to the board. Drills a hole in the middle. The fitting is glued into the hole. Installs the part on the cuff and presses it with clamps. Connects the fitting to the vacuum pump. Then the clamps are removed and the tightly pressed part can be processed.
Of course, not everyone has a vacuum pump, but for masters there is nothing impossible, and you can remake an automobile compressor or a refrigerator compressor for it.
