To create this tool the author needed:
1) A piece of metal (2.5 mm thick metal is used here);
2) Two nuts (in this case, the author uses the nuts on 8, turnkey on 13).
3) Old stabilizer bar.
4) The grinder.
5) Drill.

So, here's what you need to do with all of the above details to get a useful and convenient device for tightening car clamps.
Step 1
A strip of 23 mm wide is cut out of metal. However, the dimensions of length and width are not very important here, they are chosen arbitrarily by the author. Accordingly, it is possible to make such a strip more or less - the main thing is that the device is subsequently convenient to use.
Further, a tapered narrowing is made at one end of the strip. A metal ring is welded to the other end - for easy storage - from the stabilizer bar.
Step 2
At the next stage, two nuts are welded to the strip - at the place where its narrowing begins - through which the stem will subsequently pass through the internal holes.
Therefore, if these holes are smaller than the diameter of the stem, as happened during the author’s creation of the idea, they will have to be expanded to a suitable size.
Step 3
We take an old stabilizer bar and now cut off from it such a fragment with a rod length of 35 mm.
In the rod, we carefully make the through slot through the grinder (we will tuck the tip of the clamp into it).
We insert the rod into the holes of the nuts.
On this, in fact, the creation of homemade work is completed. Our clamp tightener is ready to use.
Health Check
It works very simply. We put the clamp on the part that needs to be provided with anther.
Then we put on the boot itself, making sure that it has stood in its seat.
After that we put the clamp on the boot and tighten first with your hand, as far as possible.
And now the turn of our adaptation comes. We attach it to the clamp and thread the tip of the clamp into the cut rod.
Now it remains only to turn the stem a few times, and the clamp will tighten without much effort.
After we clamped the clamp, turn its tip up, fix and cut off the unnecessary length.
Simpler
By the way, this homemade product is easily simplified. So, if you don’t have the skills of a welder or you simply don’t have a welding machine at hand, or an unnecessary stabilizer stand, this is not a problem at all.
For example, in order not to weld the nuts, it is enough to additionally mark on each side of the metal billet - before cutting it - two suitable “ears” in size. After the strip is cut off, the ears are bent perpendicular to the base and drilled.
The used stabilizer bar can be replaced with a standard cotter pin. In this case, it will not be necessary to do a through cut.
The metal ring to the base of the device can also not be welded.
It will be functional only if this device is stored in a suspended state.
