PAK FA SU – T50 Aircraft Model - Prototype

good afternoon the inhabitants of our site!
I want to tell you about creating an airplane model, the most interesting thing is that model, about which I begin my story, was made not on the basis of a real airplane, but according to a picture drawn by an artist before the construction of a real PAK FA SU – T50.

This is how the prototype chosen by the author for the construction of this model looks like.

And it looks like a real fighter.

Here, according to these sizes in the figure, the author built his model.

The author began construction from the carrier plane, from the wing, which is additionally reinforced with wooden battens.

A motor mount is mounted on the tail end of the wing to mount the motor.

Retracts from the landing gear are installed on the underside of the wing blank.

The supporting sides of the fuselage are installed to which
stiffening ribs - spars on which the external skin of the model from the substrate will be mounted - are glued along the entire length of the wing.

The lining of the bow of the fuselage begins.

Further installation of the casing throughout the model.

Aileron details are cut off and hung in their places. A hitch is made on tape.

Servos are installed.

After installing the servos, mounting of the backing is completed.

Armature is made and installed for the nose of the fuselage.

The keels are made and are waiting for installation.

The close-fitting trim of the bow of the model ends.

Installed botanical navigation lights BANO

The final placement of the electronics in the fuselage.

Made camouflage coloring.

This is how the model looks from below.

View of the model from the bow.

View of the model from the tail.

The model is ready for testing.

Materials for the construction of the model.
Heater "Penopleks" (orange) - thickness 20 mm.
Heater "Penoplex" (gray) - thickness - 30 mm.
The substrate under the laminate is 3-4 mm.
Wooden slats.
Servo - 12g x 2pcs. and 9g x 2pcs.
Motor - 3536/5
Screw - 8x4
The regulator is 80A.
Chassis - MCR-G Series Retracts
Weight - 2100 gr.

A bit of video.

Further, I quote the author’s words about the operation of the control system.

“The system works like this:
Stick on yourself - ailerons up and slats up
Stick from yourself - ailerons down and slats down
Stick to the right - right aileron up right slat down and left aileron down and left slat up
Stick left - left aileron up left slat down and right aileron down and right slat up ”

Here is such a beautiful model.
