Manufacturing process.
The author begins his project with the manufacture of four central parts, and four longitudinal struts. He inserts the latter into the grooves and "sits" on the glue. After which he reinforces the entire structure with 50 mm screws, with which he passes through the center of the longitudinal struts into the central circular support.
These sections should be fixed especially firmly, since in the future this coil will wind a 50 meter rope.
After the master has finished the manufacture of the central section of the reel, he places round covers on each side of the gate so that the rope does not slide off it. Then the master fastens the hats in four places to the central struts.
Now the master adds an axial part, which should attach the central winch of the coil to the side posts. For fastening, the author uses a steel stud with threaded threads. This rod helps to center all the details. And in the lateral bearings pre-installs bearings.
In reality, when the coil drags a load on the rope, its rotation will occur under considerable effort. With this in mind, the craftsman takes a piece of a metal plate and drills a 10mm hole in it, the size of which matches the diameter of the stud, which passes through the entire axis with the axis.
Then he draws this plate directly to the coil with a nut, and takes the nut to be welded to the plate and to the rod.
Typically, the shaft and nut are zinc coated. And before cooking, you should slightly clean the surface.
So, everything is welded. Now, the author drills a couple of holes in a metal plate and, for greater reliability, screw it with screws to the coil.
After that, the master attaches side supports. If you do not have a welding machine, the author notes, then it is quite possible to use the flange and press it with a nut to the side, and to the steel stud. This will hold no worse than welding!
Now this construction needs a foundation to make it more stable.
The next step is to find a support on which to place this coil. In our case, it will be a wooden board. To fix the device on the trunk, the author will use a strap with a ratchet mechanism.
Now it remains only to check how it works. And ... this is amazing! Why some hills and slides! There is no need to assure that it is device became a real hit among children and brought incredibly much joy to both children and adults.
