Hello everyone, I propose to consider an interesting idea for a night lamp. It looks like aliens are abducting a cow with the help of a mystical ray. Everything looks pretty interesting, albeit made artisanly. If you show a little enthusiasm, everything can be done much better interesting, but the idea itself is interesting. The main drawback of the design is that it is impossible to replace the batteries in the lamp without disassembling it. Here you need to either power the lamp from the network, or make access to the batteries. In the current version, to replace the batteries, you need to disassemble the lamp, and then glue it again, which is not very convenient. If you are interested in the project, I propose to study it in more detail.
Materials and tools used by the author:
Material List:
- ;
- switch;
- two plastic plates;
- silver paint;
- a glass;
- a small cow or other animal (or maybe not an animal);
- a piece of plywood and velvety fabric (to simulate a meadow).
Tool List:
- stationery knife;
- glue gun;
- drill;
- soldering iron.
The manufacturing process of the lamp:
Step one. Plate preparation
From two plastic saucers we will assemble an alien flying saucer. We take the first plate and cut out the hole for the LED lamp in the center. In the second plate, we drill holes in a circle, they are needed for decorative purposes, for detailing. Also in the center of the upper plate we drill a hole for the switch.
Step Two Modifying the flashlight
The flashlight needs to be disassembled, we need to connect a separate button to it, which we will install on the cover. The button can be pulled out of the same flashlight or the like. The button should not be too tight, since we will fix it with hot glue.
Step Three Body assembly
The plates need to be painted, the author uses silver paint to simulate alien aluminum.
Next, glue a flashlight to the bottom plate, and in front of the flashlight a glass with the bottom up. After installing the switch, glue two plates with hot glue, and then finally paint over everything on top so that the glue does not violate the aesthetics.
Everything is almost ready, we glue a miniature cow into the glass with hot glue.We make a meadow of velvety fabric and plywood as the basis. Of course, the grass should be green, so you can either dye it or choose a green cloth. That's all, homemade ready, turn on and enjoy. Everything looks very dark and mystical in the dark, but needs refinement in terms of nutrition. That's all, the project is over, I hope you liked the idea. Good luck and creative inspiration if you decide to repeat it! Do not forget to share your ideas and homemade things with us!
