Snowmobile - All-terrain vehicle from a chainsaw, a bicycle, and cameras from KAMAZ

Hello dear readers and the inhabitants of our site!
In this article, the author of the YouTube channel "KREOSAN" will tell you how he and his friends made a snowmobile from garbage.

Materials
- Cameras from KAMAZ wheels
- Bicycle frame
- A pair of plastic skis
- Reducer from a Honda DIO scooter
- The engine from the Ural-2 chainsaw
- Chains
- A pair of stars
- Gas tank
- Two wheels from a wheelchair
- Axle with bearings
- Steel barrel 200 liters
- Canvas tape.

Instruments, used by the author.
- Bulgarian
- Welding machine
- Spanners.

Manufacturing process.
The guys’s ramp is almost ready, in its front part it will be necessary to install the engine from the Ural-2 chainsaw.

The front of the frame with a hub for the steering wheel will need to be welded like this.

Install a soft seat.

Since it will be necessary to increase traction - you will need to take the reduction gear from the Honda DIO scooter.

Then weld such sprockets to the gearbox shaft, install in the rear of the frame under the seat, put on chains. Then you will need an axle for the wheels.

Just in case, they took another gear with a large number of teeth. Wheelchairs are very suitable.

Then you need to screw the axis to the mounts.

The most interesting thing is that the wheels in diameter are ideally suited to the old 200-liter barrel. It was previously cut into sections.

Next, they take the camera from the KAMAZ, put it on the barrel, using it as a rim.

And then they will press the camera to the barrel with a tarp and pump it up.

The result is such huge wheels.

Landing at the rear axle will be of this level. And hence the huge cross.

They took the front of the bike, welded to the frame, and the steering wheel turned out.

With a right angle of inclination of the front fork, the ski will not rotate, it should be inclined at an angle to the surface.

They installed a motor, gearbox, fixed the axle or put on a chain. No tensioners have not yet been installed.

Also installed a small gas tank.

The wheels are made removable for easy transportation.

The ski had to do double. Unload the details.

The pull was still not enough. I had to use a large asterisk on the rear axle. From this, the torque has become even greater.

And they started assembling. We put the seat, installed the wheels, fixed them with bolts.

Everything, you can refuel and start.

Although the wheels are immersed in deep snow almost to the rim - this unit is very good at rowing.

With ease, you can put "on the goat", and call in a large snowdrift.

And finally, in the deep snow, and on a steep hill.

And the guys are planning to make this monster motorcycle - an amphibian, replacing the skis with a pontoon.

Thanks to the authors for a simple but very cool idea for winter fun!

All good mood, good luck, and interesting ideas!

At low pressure - a very long time.

As a child I had a tire, though probably from Kraz. On it and ten could swim. So - about five years from the river to the house they dragged each summer, and it was only possible to roll it, heavy and uncomfortable. As a result of the mouse, they could barely bite a hole.
In the snow - I think a very long time =)
Yeah, the main thing is not to run into anything under the snow, then! Yes, and crust is very scratchy, although I do not know, these are just my assumptions! smile

Well, but I'm curious: does a camera without a tire "walk" for a long time? scratch
