Toolbox and workstation



The toolkit of this master is an expression of his practice. Over the course of 5 years, his needs changed as a master and artist. Some of the tools are specific. The contents of the box include LEDs, an electrical system with a charger for a power tool, a desktop power supply, and a soldering iron. There is a mirror and an anvil.

The master has a small collection of his favorite instrument sets that he saw on the Internet.

Step 2: the box itself





What is a tool box without a box? A bunch of tools. Nobody likes it. The author was lucky and bought a travel suitcase from Apex Electronics Surplus in Los Angeles for about $ 30.

Step 15: Electrical Component






In the master’s box there are a lot of electrical components.

• AC power input, type IEC • Same as the back of an old computer.



• Ammeter, 20 amperes
• LED lightening. There is a 12V strip of LED lights that run along the body. It provides plenty of light for emergency work and extra light for reading labels during normal operation. It is connected to the power supply unit.



• Alternating power supply up to 36 volts DC and up to 3 amperes.

Step 16: Wheels and Drawer Handles





This box weighs 32 kg. in full. Without wheels, moving this box is simply not realistic.
Therefore, the author bought a set of wheels, as well as a retractable handle.

This box has a lot of room for growth! Desired author modernization.

Step 18: Magnets




This box has sheets and rails with magnets. There is also a small magnetically mounted tray and a wrist magnet.

Step 19: Perforated Steel Sheet









It is very easy to store tools in this sheet. Magnets also stick to it well. Used as a stand for screwdrivers.
The size of the hole is 6 mm.

Step 20: Steel Belt






Not all tools will stick to the magnet. Some of them are plastic or just too heavy. To do this, the box has a steel strip.
