Jack used the file, and cut it into 2 parts, then added a convenient handle.
Such a device works better than sandpaper, and better than a regular file. Great for removing, grinding and shaping wood.

Manufacturing process.
So, Jack took a regular file, sawed it in half, and removed the shank with a grinder.
Then he set the distance from the circular saw blade to the stop along the width of the file.
From the rosewood I cut two planks according to the size of the file blanks.
And the edges of the wooden block, after trimming, cut off at a slight angle.
Then he applied glue and applied blanks. Then he crushed them with weights.
After the glue has dried, it divided the blanks on the band saw, and also cut the ends at an angle.
Clamping the workpiece in a clamp, he rounded the edges on the milling machine.
The handle turned out to be very comfortable, and lies well in the hand. It is necessary to slightly treat the surface with sandpaper.
Now Jack applies wood impregnation to the handles. This will protect it from moisture.
I mixed the components of epoxy resin, then applied it to the file, trying not to get on the edges and work surface. Then he glued the blanks and pressed them down with weights.
Here's a handy tool from a file in a few minutes. We will not consider time for painting and hardening of glue. Jack was very pleased with the manufactured instrument.
