The master is interested in collecting and repairing old sewing machines. Often, old wooden case-boxes become unusable or lost. Then the master decided to make boxes for his sewing machines on his own.

Step One: Material Procurement
The box consists of the lower part (case), on which the machine will be fixed, and a protective casing. The body of the master will make 9 mm plywood and boards. When manufacturing, you need to consider the size of each sewing machine. It is also necessary to take into account, in the manufacture of the lower part, the space for accommodating the mechanism of the sewing machine.
Step Two: Assembly
After sawing the material, the master assembles the case. Housing parts are fixed with carpentry glue and nails.
Step Three: Casing
Harvests parts for the casing.
Cuts out pens.
Assembles a casing. Covers plywood with varnish.
Step Four: Loops
As already mentioned, the master has several sewing machines. To install some, he uses the hinges purchased, for others he makes the hinges on his own. The installation principle in both cases is approximately the same. For purchased hinges, the installation location is milled and the hinge is fixed.
Now consider the manufacture and installation of homemade loops.
Homemade loop is made of a profile pipe and a metal rod. The pipe is cut to size. One shelf is cut off. Holes are drilled coaxially in opposite shelves.
Also, the hole must be drilled in the rod. Now it remains only to collect the loop. Washers must be installed between the profile shelves and the shaft.
To install such a loop, you need to cut out the groove.
Step Five: Locks
To fix two parts of the case, the master installs locks.
Step six: the inscription
For marking, the master glues the name of each machine to the body.
Boxes for sewing machines are ready.
