I welcome fans to craft, today we will make a furnace from a gas cylinder. Homemade will be useful in the garage, in the country or just in nature. The stove heats well, and you can also cook on it. A distinctive feature of the stove is the possibility of vertical loading of firewood, which is quite convenient. But if you do not need it, you can only make a classic firebox. The material for the furnace is a gas cylinder, as well as sheet metal and large-diameter profile pipes. If you are interested in the project, I propose to study it in more detail!
Materials and tools used by the author:
Material List:

- bolts with nuts (or door hinges);

Furnace manufacturing process:
Step one. Balloon preparation
First of all, we will prepare the cylinder for cutting, if there was combustible gas in it, there is a big explosion when cutting. The author filled the bottle with water under the neck, and then poured the contents. For reliability, it is better to pour hot water and detergent can be added to it.
From the tank you need to cut off the stand, as well as the upper handle.
Step Two Plate
We cut out the window for installing the hob in the cylinder. As a hob, it is desirable to use thick sheet metal. But if there is no metal, you can align the cut part and weld as a hob.
Step Three Firebox and pipe
We make a furnace, it is made from a piece of a profile pipe of large diameter. A round piece of pipe is vertically welded to this pipe at right angles; hot pipes of combustion will enter the cylinder through this pipe. Cut a hole in the cylinder for the diameter of this pipe.
Step Four Grinding
The cylinder needs to be cleaned of old paint, for this we make a fire in it and wait until the smoke stops coming from the surface of the cylinder.Next, we cool the cylinder and work as a grinder with a wire nozzle, as a result, the cylinder is easily cleaned to a shine. Other parts also need to be cleaned of rust.
Step Five Firebox assembly
We assemble the firebox, weld the pipe to the firebox, and also make a pipe for the vertical loading of firewood into the firebox. To get the desired diameter, the author cut the profile pipe along, and then inserted the iron plates and welded everything. We weld the part to the furnace, having previously cut a hole on top.
The author decided to increase the furnace itself, as a result we get a place for ash. Cut the bottom of the furnace and weld a half of the profile pipe. We weld a grate into the furnace, which will serve as grate.
After that, the hob can also be welded to the cylinder, the welds must be airtight.
Step Six Chimney
It remains to weld a pipe for installing the chimney into the gas cylinder body; it should be slightly smaller in diameter than the inner diameter of the chimney. The author reduced the diameter of the pipe himself, in simple ways. Finally, we weld everything and now the furnace is almost ready.
Seventh step. Doors
We install the doors; the author uses bolts with nuts as loops. After that, the furnace can be tested, ignition occurs through a classic horizontally located door. When the draft is already set up, you can heat the furnace through a vertical loader.
Step Eight. Completion
At the end, we weld from the profile pipes a rack that will support the furnace. That’s all, it remains to paint the oven with heat-resistant paint.
