If you believe that a drill can be drilled only in the walls of a hole, then you are mistaken.
The drill is a universal, thanks to a huge number of additional devices, tool. One of these devices is the petal nozzles - often a disk, or a cylindrical bar, to which many petals of grinding material are attached along the outer contour.
The article is intended for beginners who know all this or who are not interested, politely pass by. Sorry.
Today we will try to make a simple version of a petal nozzle on a drill.
Of the tools we need - a drill, a hole saw, a hacksaw, drills and a screwdriver.
From the materials - a small sheet of plywood or chipboard, self-tapping glue, a bolt with washers and a nut, an emery cloth on a fabric basis (preferably with large abrasive grain).
The procedure for manufacturing an abrasive nozzle on a drill.
1. We cut two disks from a sheet of plywood or chipboard, the chipboard has a standard thickness of 16 mm, and plywood selects similar parameters by thickness.
2. We divide one disk into eight sectors (shown in the video clip).
3. Drill a hole in the center of the discs, seat them on the glue and crimp them with a bolt.
4. Around the perimeter, at an equally remote distance from the center of the disk, drill holes in the marked sectors.
5. Cut the grinding skin in size, the first in the width of the disk, the second at your discretion.
6. Make cuts in the body of the disc from the edge to the drilled holes (shown in the video)
7. Insert the petals prepared from the emery cloth into the nozzle body, fix.
8. We use the device.
