Many of you adore small home animals like hamsters, but all sorts of hamster toys are often pretty standard - different wheels and the like.
In this article, YouTube’s author of The Q tells you how he made an electric treadmill for hamsters.

Manufacturing process.
To begin with, the master measured the size of the hamster in order to choose the appropriate dimensions of the track.
On a sheet of plywood I marked future details of the structure, and even indicated their dimensions.
Then he cut the workpiece with an electric jigsaw, and cleaned the edges with sandpaper.
Here are the blanks.
He noted the places of fastening of bolts and screws on the side panels, drilled pilot holes and countersunk them with a 7 mm drill.
Then he assembled a side strut in which the engine with the gearbox will be installed. It needs only one guide bolt.
Amassed self-tapping screws, and connected with their help the base with the side panel.
Marked the seat for the engine, and with the help of a dremel cut it out. Finally leveled with a file.
Now the engine can be installed in place. Its shaft should be directed inside the structure.
From the PVC tube, the author cut two blanks for the rollers.
Using a crown, I cut out the adapter washer and pressed it into the end of the tube. It is she who will dress on the motor shaft.
On the other side of the tube, a bearing is pressed in.
Now the first roller is put on the motor shaft.
Bearings are inserted into the second roller on both sides, and it is put on a bolt.On the second side part, two guide bolts are already needed. They are inserted into the rollers on the other hand.
Now the screws are baited, and screwed to the base.
Then the wires are soldered to the engine, and connected to the voltage regulator. The regulator itself is connected to the battery compartment. Three 18650 batteries of 4.2 Volts are installed in the battery compartment. The total voltage will be 12.6 V.
The master attached the battery compartment and voltage regulator to the top panel using hot glue.
The author himself fastened the top panel to the racks.
Now thin sheet rubber is cut across the width of the rollers, and connected to each other by reinforced tape. It is unnecessary to pull the tape too much.
It remains to apply a couple of inscriptions, and the track is ready.
You can gradually increase the speed of the tape by rotating the knob. And of course, check this device on hamsters. Apparently - they liked it!
