Hello everyone, I propose to consider an interesting lamp from a tree trunk, which will create a special atmosphere of comfort in the house. The tree trunk is hollow inside and a light bulb is installed there, which imitates a burning fire. As a result, it seems as if a fire is burning inside the log and everything looks quite realistic. On the second, narrower branch, the author installed a small LED light bulb and a ceiling, homemade perfectly illuminates the steps in the dark so that no one falls. The manufacturing process of the lamp:
Step one. Material preparation
First, remove the bark from the wood, the author works with the hatchet. Next, the most difficult thing to do is to cut the core out of wood. The author works with a variety of tools, for a start a drill and a chisel were used, but the wood turned out to be too viscous and did not want to chop. Then a chainsaw came to the rescue, with the help of it it was possible to cut considerable volumes of wood. At the end, we set the final shape of the holes using a chisel.
Step Two Treatment
We polish the wood from the outside, here you will need a grinder, and it is best to use orbital. Also a good option would be a nozzle on the grinder. After polishing, we impregnate the wood with oil or wax, so it will look natural and beautiful.
Step Three Assembly
We assemble the lamp, inside the large hollow we install a light bulb that simulates fire. On the other side of the branch we put a small bulb with a ceiling. After that, the homemade product will be ready, you can experience.
