This homemade product is quite simple, and it can be done with a hand tool even inhome conditions.

Manufacturing process.
So, the author will use a couple of wooden slabs of linden and hazel about 40 mm thick. Other hardwoods may also be used.
First, he marks the contours of the future seat on a linden blank.
The following is the marking of the hazel blank. It will be a back.
The first master cuts back detail using a band saw.
Making a seat will be a bit trickier. Its dimensions do not allow the use of a band saw, it is first necessary to make cuts with a hand circular saw, and cut them with an electric jigsaw in the corners.
The unused part of the array is cut off by the master.
Now you can process the curly contours with a band saw.
Tries and marks the future hole for emphasis in the back.
Drills holes for the entrance of the jigsaw blade, and cuts a rectangular hole.
The master polishes all surfaces of the parts with an orbital machine.
Faces he prefers to grind manually.
The author impregnates all surfaces with linseed oil-varnish, pay attention to how the texture of hazel wood is manifested!
The texture of the linden is more dense and uniform, you should not expect sharp contrasting transitions from it.
That's all, this simple design is easy to assemble, and the master can relax after the work done.
I thank the author for one of the simplest ways to make a folding chair!
All good mood, good luck, and interesting ideas!
