Some of you may have had to lay the floor tiles, and you know firsthand how inconvenient this work is, especially for large volumes.
In this article, the creator of the Men’s Craft YouTube channel will tell you how he made a special mobile seat to facilitate this type of work.
This homemade product is quite simple to manufacture, and its factory counterparts are very expensive.

Manufacturing process.
The author decided to use the seat itself from a bicycle. And as the main frame design - a steel profile pipe. He will need a piece of 600 mm long.
Then, on a sheet of plywood, the master marks out the contours of two supporting platforms, and cuts them with a jigsaw.
They also need to cut two slots for the tape. To do this, drill holes for the entrance of the jigsaw blade.
The edges of the workpieces are polished with an orbital machine.
At the edges of the profile pipe, he piles and drills holes for the mounting bolts.
It transfers the marking to the site, drills blind holes for the bolt heads with a pen drill, and then through holes.
Now both sites are connected to the profile pipe.
Next, the master proceeds with the manufacture of the seat holder. To do this, he glues several scraps of plywood, and fixes them with clamps.
After the glue dries, it cuts off the excess material with a saber saw. The edges of the workpiece are ground.
In the center of the block, drills a hole with a pen drill along the diameter of the seat pipe.
Now you can screw a pair of wheels to the frame.
Still need to cut out the plywood cross panel.
Holes are drilled in the blank for attachment to the frame. Recipients are drilled in the profile pipe itself.
He tries on the block to the panel, drills pilot holes in it, and connects the parts with self-tapping screws.
It remains to attach the panel to the frame with bolts.
A third wheel is screwed to the rear of the panel.
The seat is mounted in a block holder.
And knee pads are attached to the front platforms.
That's all ready, now all the work at the bottom of the walls, and on the floor itself will perform much more comfortably. This also applies to the installation of electrical outlets.
I thank the author for the simple but useful device for outdoor work!
All good mood, good luck, and interesting ideas!
