Wooden stand for LCD TV or monitor

The stand for the LCD TV or monitor, made by Instructables under the nickname TheCarmichaelWorkshop, differs from the standard one not only in that it is made of wood, but also in the ability to adjust the height and angle of the device in its own plane - just loosen the wing, adjust the height or angle, and then tighten again.

Work on homemade the wizard starts by printing a multi-page template. It is designed to make a stand for the 24-inch Vizio D24F combination television monitor, the template will fit other devices of similar sizes with minimal alterations or without alterations. The master glues the page of the template for the manufacture of the stand onto the workpiece with dimensions of 150x250 mm and a thickness of 20 mm, and then cuts the corresponding part on a jigsaw machine. According to the same pattern, he drills at the base of the hole.

Having glued together two pages of the template at once (this solution allows you to repeat the stand with an A4-only printer), the master cuts out a vertical part of the structure from a workpiece measuring 130x410 mm of the same thickness. At the same time, it is important that the end face touching the base be cut strictly at right angles, otherwise the stand will come out curved.

The master checks this and makes sure that it did not turn out crookedly:

Focusing on the straight-line driver on the base template, the master connects it to the vertical part with three self-tapping screws:

Next, the master cuts out the part that is directly connected to the mounting holes on the back of the TV or monitor. In most cases, their location is standard, but the thread may be different. It is necessary to fasten the device to the stand with the hardware that is suitable. The master came up with M4 screws 16 mm long.

Also, the master installs an insert with a female thread in the central hole, which plays the role of a nut for the wing with a screw:

And cuts the lamb itself:

In which an epoxy screw is glued:

And sawed off his head:

Lacquers all delati and puts a washer on the part attached to the monitor or TV:

Then he collects the stand and installs the apparatus on it:

This design was repeated by the commentator under the nickname thehoss (on the website Instructables there is a function I made it that allows you to show the result of the repetition), let's see what happened:

As you can see, it came up to another monitor (in this case, from Acer), but two of the four mounting holes had to be made oval to facilitate fitting. In general, for repetition, this stand is very convenient thanks to the template.
