DIY electronic auto-guard

Hello! I want to tell you how you can assemble a motorway on your own carwhile spending some money. And if anyone has the necessary radio components for this, it will come out almost for free, you just need to put a little work and patience to create this homemade, and its settings. I took the scheme from the book "To help the amateur radio" No. 70, author E. Kachanov. I changed the scheme a little, since the auto-track assembled according to this scheme did not want to work in any way. Here is a diagram electronic auto watchman.

A little bit about the operation of the device. It is intended for installation on all cars with a "minus" on the ground, and which have relays installed, including sound signals. If there are no such relays on the car, then you can install them yourself.

The auto-guard is connected to the terminal of any door button of the interior lighting switch or to the H1 lamp (shown in the diagram). If any unauthorized persons enter the vehicle interior, the watchman will turn on an intermittent beep. The scheme provides a small delay in the time this signal is turned on, allowing the car owner to get out of the car, turning on the device and then turning it off after the driver gets into the car. The signal lasts 30-40 seconds, and then it turns off itself. This protects the battery from discharging, and a signal from failure. The auto watchman is ready for work again.

A standby multivibrator is made on transistors T1-T3, an electronic key on transistors T5, T6, and on transistors T7-T9 a multivibrator that provides an intermittent sound signal. To assemble this device, we need the following parts and tools.

It: transistors KT 312V-3pcs; KT312A-1pc; KT801B-1pcs; MP42B-3pcs; 12v relay - for example RES-9-1pcs; relay for 10v current 50-70mA (TKE53PD1); diode D223-1pcs; D9V-1pcs; and D242 -1pcs; electrolytic capacitors 100mkf * 15v - non-polar -1pcs; 1mkf * 12v-1pcs; 500uf * 6v-1pcs; 20uF * 12v-1pcs; 30mkf * 10v-2pcs; resistors MLT-0.25W 1kom-4pcs; 10kom-2pcs; 750kom-1pcs; 15kom-1pcs; 100 ohm-1pcs; 1,5kom-1pcs; 150kom-1pcs; 82kom-1pcs; 1.2kom-1pcs; 39kom-2pcs; TV2-1 toggle switch -1pcs; 5-pin plug and connector to it, car wiring harness, any suitable housing.

Instruments: soldering accessories - soldering iron; solder; tweezers; pliers; nippers; screwdrivers; drill; drill; M 3 bolts and nuts, textolite boards with mounting tabs; mounting wires for soldering.

We assemble the device in the following sequence:
Step 1. We check all the radio components for operability, since I basically have them. We check with a multimeter. Everything is shown in the photo.

Step 2 We place the mounting plates, 5-pin connector in the existing housing.

Step 3 We solder the entire circuit of the device, and the plug with the help of wires, according to the circuit, solder to the toggle switch.

Check the correct assembly.

Step 4. We establish the assembled scheme. It is necessary to select the resistors R 2, R 9. Resistor R 2 set the desired sound time of the signal. With the help of R 9 we select the necessary delay time for switching on the car signal 5-8 seconds. If false alarms occur, then C1 or one of the transistors is faulty. When setting up the device, it is best to connect a regular 12V-1-3W light bulb instead of a sound signal. This is so that you are not kicked out of the house when a loud car signal sounds.

In the circuit, you can use MLT resistors, capacitors C2-C5-K50-3, or K50-12, C1-type ETN, or K50-15 non-polar, or use polar by connecting it with a plus to the T1 collector. The use of K50-6 capacitors is not desirable _ because of their low cold resistance (up to -10 degrees Celsius). It is best to place the device behind the dashboard, and the toggle switch - in a convenient and inconspicuous place.

A more detailed description can be found in the book "To help the radio amateur" No. 70 p. -40.

That's all, the homemade product is ready. I'm quite happy. Can be put on a budget car. See you again.

Yes !!! The mighty thing. With such a (mounted) clumsy installation, and taking into account vibrations, this "miracle" of electronics in a car will not last a week! And frankly, the appearance of this craft is already 40 ... 50 years old, no less.
