I welcome all fans to craft, I propose to consider instructions for the manufacture of a small submersible pump do it yourself. IN homemade the author used motor model 775capable of operating on a voltage of 12-24V, which makes it possible to power the pump from the battery. Homemade can form a good pressure of water, which is enough to draw water from a source, wash the car and so on. To prevent the motor from overheating, the author even provided for a liquid cooling system. The most important thing in such a homemade product is tightness, the motor should not be flooded. Materials and tools used by the author:

Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. External housing
First of all, we will prepare the parts for the manufacture of the body, for this purpose the author used a piece of the plumbing pipe at 110. We put plugs on the pipe, cut off the excess with a hacksaw for metal. The author made the case for the existing home-made pump, which has yet to be redone.
Step Two water pump
The author’s pump was already ready, which he made earlier. The design of the pump is very simple, it is centrifugal type, and everything is made of PVC sheet. The author disassembled the pump, removed the excess and redid the impeller. Now the impeller has only 4 blades, and they are smooth, most likely, such an experimental solution.
For temporary fastening, the blades can be fixed with superglue, and in the end you need to glue everything well with a special thick glue for PVC.
The author placed the pump in a casing of 110 pipes, drilled a hole with a crown and installed an outlet pipe. And so that the motor was at the right height, the author made an emphasis for him from a piece of a plumbing pipe.
Step Three Cooling system
Motor 775 in a closed case it will overheat and as a result will fail. To solve the problem, the author provided for water cooling of the motor. We take a thin tube and wrap a spiral around the motor housing. We put one end of the tube into the pump casing, and the other lead out. As a result, when the pump works, it will pump water through the circuit, thereby cooling the motor, which is quite an efficient circuit.
Step Four Collect the pump
First, we have to glue the pump casing, everything must be done very tightly, the motor should not be in water. Particular attention should be paid to the gland, which does not let water through the gap between the shaft and the housing. As a stuffing box, the author simply filled a grease in a special washer; in theory, the water will not go as long as there is grease, since the pressure cannot squeeze out the grease. Of course, it would be most reliable to also install a full-fledged oil seal from a piece of a bicycle or car camera.
We glue the pump casing with thick PVC terminals, there should be no leakage anywhere. Water will be taken through the plug, drill a hole in it and glue the inlet pipe. To prevent the motor from walking inside the case, we attach polyethylene foam or other material.
Before installing the back cover, solder the wires, drill a hole under them, do not forget to also glue the place where the cable exits the housing.
When everything is ready, the whole body can be finally glued.
Step Five Test
The pump is ready for the homemade product to start pumping water, the device must be immersed in the water shallow so that the pump is filled with water. The pump easily pumps water in the basin, the pressure is not bad, and the volume of pumped water is quite good. It is not advisable to get debris into the pump, it can damage the impeller, so do not forget to put the mesh as a rough filter.
