Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Frame preparation and installation of wire cutters
First of all, we will prepare the frame for homemade work, it must withstand the heavy loads that the jack will create. The author assembled the frame from thick sheet steel and strengthened everything as much as possible.
As soon as the frame is ready, we disassemble the nippers, remove the handles from them, one of the knives needs to be firmly welded to the frame, it will be static. To fix the knife well, the author cut a slot in the frame under it and boiled it well.
Step Two Jack
We install the jack, under its rod you need to make support on the moving part of the scissors. As such a support, the author adapted a piece of a round pipe of a suitable dimmeter. Well, we put the jack on the basis of the frame, which was welded earlier.
Step Three Springs
After depressurization, the wire cutters should begin to move apart, and the jack stem should return to its original position. To solve the problem, the author found two powerful springs, they were hung using a steel rod, which is inserted into the ear of the moving half of the nippers.
Step Four Test
You can experience homemade work, for demonstration, the author easily bit off a piece of steel bolt with a diameter of about 8 mm with a pair of pliers.The machine works perfectly, presumably it can cut steel plates and other parts.
