Greetings to all readers and masters. Today I bring to your attention the idea of making a computer desk backlight based on a 5 v LED strip; in other cases, this option can be used anywhere in the room. How relevant this idea is, you decide, but you can call it original, in my opinion.
To make this homemade the author needed:
Materials
• Walnut board
• Plexiglass
• LED Strip Light
• Gorilla glue
• Wooden dowel
• Wood impregnation
Instruments
• Face Saw
• Belt grinding machine
• Drilling machine
• Nozzle crown
• Clamps
Step one.
First, the author cut a board and a strip of Plexiglas into identical 13x13 cm squares. For one cube (the author has two), the master needed four wooden blanks and three from Plexiglas.
Step Two
Then he drilled holes in the workpieces on a drilling machine.
Step Three
Everything is ready, you can start assembling the first cube. First, the author inserted a dowel in the center of the wooden blank, pre-lubricating the lower part with glue. Then he wrapped it in LED strip from top to bottom. In a blank of plexiglass, I cut a groove under the wire and strung it on the dowel. I laid out a “sandwich” alternating wooden parts with details from plexiglass, immediately lubricating them with glue. The finished sandwich was fixed with clamps.
Step Four
When the glue froze, the author polished the “sandwich” from all sides, coated it with impregnation, and polished it after drying. By the same principle, made another "sandwich" lamp. That's all.
Apparently there is nothing complicated here, the main desire and fantasy, and then a matter of technology.
That's all for me, thank you all for your attention and see you soon!
