A small "kozlotron" (also known as a "draloscope") by Instructables under the nickname jusou is designed to manually transfer images from one translucent material to another.
The master makes a sketch of all the details of the device’s case with dimensions.
The lower part in the sketch is made of glass 5 mm thick (plexiglass is also suitable), the rest are made of plywood 15 mm thick. While the master cuts out only plywood details:
The master also takes self-tapping screws, a special double-sided tape of increased strength 3M VHB, enamel (for internal surfaces - white, for external - any), 15 W fluorescent lamps, cartridges for such lamps, electronic ballasts (not shown yet), switch, masking tape, plug:
Prepares various tools (not all are shown) - a screwdriver, a drill with a limiter, a jig for drilling at an angle, a hexagon, a clamp, bits for a screwdriver:
Composes a sketch of the assembled homemade (view from three sides):
He presses the conductor to the plywood with a clamp for drilling at an angle, drills the holes, shows what shape they turn out:
Folds body parts together with the bottom:
But the bottom has not yet been attached, and the side walls are screwed with screws through holes previously drilled at an angle, thereby dispensing with glue, corners, bars:
Having protected the floor with newspapers, it paints with white enamel the inner surfaces of the side walls and the bottom. Parts on which the enamel has dried can be placed on the floor without newspapers.
The bottom attaches in the usual way:
Installs lamp holders, lampholders for them, electronic ballasts, each of which serves two lamps, connects everything, adds a cord and a plug:
He puts the assembled Kozlotron onto newspapers, paints the outer surfaces of the bottom and side walls with enamel:
Isolates all exposed joints - such as, for example, this:
And finally, it cuts and sets a part from glass (you can also have plexiglass) on 3M VHB double-sided tape:
