I welcome all fans to craft, I propose to consider instructions for the manufacture of a furnace for caravanning do it yourself. You can also use such a stove in the country, the garageworkshop and so on. The stove has a hob, here you can easily heat a kettle of water, fry fried eggs, cook soup and so on. The furnace has a rather large area, which makes it an excellent source of heat.
The main part of the furnace is made of a small gas cylinder, the furnace by the furnace is separate, made of a large-diameter profile pipe. The author made the furnace for fuel pellets, but it can also be fed with chips and so on. If the project interests you, I propose to study it in more detail!

Manufacturing process homemade:
Step one. Balloon preparation and cutting
Before you start cutting the cylinder, take all necessary measures to clean it of gas residues. Among the cooling gases, there are also combustible ones; moreover, you cannot be 100% sure who and what poured this bottle up to you. When cutting a cylinder with the remains of combustible gas, the cylinder explodes with severe consequences for the cutter and others.
To protect the cylinder, the author washed it with water from a hose, you can also cut the cylinder filled with water, there will be nothing to explode.
After the cylinder is washed, we need to cut off the bottom from it, in this place there will be a cooking plane. Of course, you need to cut everything off equally, so that later you can evenly weld the cooking plane. Having outlined the area of cut, the author easily cut off the grinder with everything.
On the other side in the center, you need to cut the inlet from the furnace, then a grinder or a plasma cutter will help you. As a transition from the furnace to the cylinder, you will need to cut a piece of round steel pipe of suitable diameter.
In the end, the author removed all the paint from the cylinder with a grinder, since when it is heated it will burn.
Step Two Firebox and hob
We make a furnace from a piece of a profile pipe 120 or more.Loading at the furnace is vertical, at an angle, it is designed to load fuel granules. If desired, you can make an additional door at the end for loading sticks.
We weld the combustion chamber through a piece of a round pipe to the cylinder.
As for the hob, we choose for this a thick sheet steel, and preferably a stainless steel. Thin steel from intense heating and cooling will quickly collapse. We weld the cooking plane to the top of the container, the author is guided by the construction level, so that later the dishes will stand on the stove evenly. Of course, you need to weld everything reliably, tightly, so that carbon monoxide does not pass anywhere.
Step Three Viewing window
It will not be superfluous to make a viewing window in the cylinder so that you can observe the combustion process and navigate in terms of temperature. Glass is desirable to use heat-resistant, it can not be fixed rigidly. To fix the glass, the author made a special holder from sheet metal, the glass is inserted into the holder with a gap. In principle, the heating will be smooth and not too strong, you can try using ordinary thick glass about 3-4 mm.
Step Four Smoke pipe
In the upper part of the cylinder we cut a hole and weld a smoke pipe. As a chimney, you can use a light metal pipe from a hardware store for ventilation systems. The author made a pipe for a specific pipe diameter from a steel plate. To bend the plate, we make rows of cuts, the plate will bend clearly along these cuts.
Step Five Legs
We make legs for the furnace, you will need fittings or other similar material. We bend the legs and weld to the base. We make sure that the furnace stands exactly on an even base and does not swing.
The photo also shows that the author drilled holes in the combustion chamber, they are needed for additional air flow into the combustion area.
Step Six Grids and doors
Over the firebox, the author made a loading sleeve from a piece of a profile pipe. Fuel granules can be poured into this sleeve, as well as chips or sticks. The author easily made grates of thick steel wire.
We make two doors for the combustion chamber from sheet steel, the author hung them on bolts with nuts. As a result, we have two doors for access to the furnace, which will make it easy to maintain and heat the furnace, depending on the type of fuel.
Seventh step. Painting and testing
Before painting, it would be nice to make a test run in the open air, so that everything that the grinder did not clean out burned. Well, then the author painted the oven with heat-resistant spray paint.
The homemade product is ready, to demonstrate the work, the author fried the eggs and cooked vermicelli. The furnace in the process of testing worked on fuel granules, which is very convenient. Through the viewing window, it was possible to observe that a flame from burning pellets passes into the cylinder.
