I hasten to share with you my so far little experience.
It turns out that not only grapes can be propagated by cuttings, it turns out that conifers are the easiest to root. Moreover, they can be planted at any time: in spring, autumn and even in summer.
To do this, we need shoots. Personally, I immediately went to my friends, and here is the first trophy in my hands.
It is advisable to take a young, semi-lignified shoot.
So that there is bark or wood at the bottom of the shoot, and a young sprout at the top, at the tip.
The next step is to free the lower part of the shoot 10 centimeters from twigs and needles.
If you plan to plant in the country, or you just do not have time now, then you can not put it into the water for long.
I immediately went to the flowerbed.
We deepen our shoot by 7-10 centimeters into the soil.
Then water well.
Well, in principle, the main stage is completed.
But since I did not plant stunted needles, but tree-like, to which the cypress tree belongs, I stuck a stick nearby and carefully tied it so that the main stem began to form correctly.
That's the beauty I got!
If you have a very small shoot, then after planting in the soil, it must be covered with a cropped plastic bottle.
Now I’m looking for one of my friends who has juniper. There are a lot of them, so when I get hold of it, I will definitely write about my new plantings!
I wish you and good luck in breeding conifers !!!!!
