To make shtapmika we need:
- gypsum;
- a sharp knife;
- a needle;
- clay.
To start, we develop our model. If there is not enough imagination, then you can contact the designer, but it is better to try to do it yourself. It is recommended that you write your full name or initials on the model. You can depict certain symbolism from your initials.
Gypsum stamp
It is important that the letters that should be on our works are pushed, i.e. the stamp must have a dimple of letters. All work is done in mirror image, and already this mirror image we will do our initials.
The stamp itself can be round, square, rectangular or any other shape.
First of all, we make a form on which the symbolism from letters and initials or surname will be cut out. The shape is made with an ordinary knife, a rectangle is simply cut out and the edges are smoothed.
On the side of the form with a simple pencil you need to draw your initials or your corporate identity.
Now we take a needle or other sharp instrument and begin to cut grooves along the contour of our drawing with the image of symbolism on a plaster.
In advance, you need to prepare a soft piece of clay or plasticine to leave a print and see what you get.
Clay stamp
The second version of the stamp can be made of clay. The principle of modeling is the same as with gypsum. From clay we sculpt a rectangle. The shape of the future stamp should resemble a school eraser, so it will be more convenient to hold it in your hands.
Leave the clay to dry or use any heat.
On the smallest side, we cut out the symbols, initials. It can be supplemented with flowers.
Again we take a needle and squeeze our symbols along the border of the picture on clay.
If the clay is burned, it will become strong and, unlike gypsum, it will not crumble, you can make a fairly deep picture.
Metal stamp
There is another option stamp. Whoever has the opportunity to engrave on metal, you can put your own branding on a coin and attach a pen to the coin, which you will hold during the print.
