Making a simple water pump (pump)

In this article I want to tell you how to do in home conditions a small water pump or, as many call it, a pump ...



In order to make a water pump we need:
- a plastic bottle with a volume of 0.5 l;
- a small motor (for example, from a DVD drive) with such a "worm" (if there is no "worm", then you can cut out any other screw mounts):


- dispenser (for example, from a bottle of dishwashing liquid);
- plastic card (it can be replaced with a regular CD or DVD disc;
- felt-tip pen or pen;
- Power Supply...


So, let's begin...

First, cut off the neck of the bottle with a hacksaw as shown in the photo ...


Next, we make a small hole in the cap and carefully install the motor, fixing it with glue ...


Now we turn to the manufacture of the screw:
To do this, cut a small strip of 3 cm long and 1 cm wide from a plastic card ...

In the middle we make a small U-shaped groove and heating the edges of the strip, bend about 3 mm of the strip on each side in different directions ...


Now we make a small incision on the "worm" and glue the screw ...


Now we disassemble the marker, cut it at an angle, make a hole in the dispenser from the side, also at an angle, and install a marker in the hole, fixing it with glue ...


It remains only to glue the two parts of the pump together (part with a motor and part with a dispenser), connect the motor to the power supply and that's all ...
