Campers often find it difficult to light a bonfire. Ordinary matches often do not cope with the task, when the weather is windy or rainy as well as ordinary lighters. The solution to the problem may be the presence of matches on gasoline. We will try to make such a match right now.
How exactly to do this, we will consider after we familiarize ourselves with the video
What we need:
- used can of CO2;
- drill;
- drill;
- thread-cutting tool;
- antenna;
- cotton wool;
- copper wire.
First of all, we need to drill out everything that is unnecessary at the base of the can’s neck. The author uses a special machine, in the absence of which you can use a conventional drill and drill for the diameter of the neck.
Next, we take a thread-cutting tool and cut the thread inside the neck.
Now we need to start making the match itself. We take the workpiece and cut the thread under the diameter of the neck of the can.
It is necessary to make sure that the match freely entered and exited the spray can. We sharpen the end of the match with a file like the end of a screwdriver.
Next, cut a piece from the antenna to insert it into the match. A piece of antenna in this case will serve as a cap that will hold the match wick.
As a wick, you can use ordinary cotton wool. We take cotton wool and wrap it on the match with a thin layer.
We wind copper wire over the entire length of the match on cotton wool.
We put the cap on the match so that at the end the cotton wool looks out. We also put on a match gasket, which will ensure tightness and will not allow gasoline to leak from the base.
The match is actually ready. It remains only to take care of the mounting of flints. To attach flints, the author makes a frame and wire. The wire only needs to be bent and welded to the spray can. Thus, we get the opportunity to insert flints into the frame without any problems. According to the author, flints can stick on glue.
For decoration, you can make a hole on the top of the match and insert the ear for the chain there.
The match is finally ready. It remains only to pour gasoline into the can and light a fire.
