Winter came. It’s cold and slippery outside. People often fall, and this is fraught with consequences: fractures, dislocations, etc. There are many warnings to keep the winter successful without injuries. It is necessary, in particular, to walk more carefully, to be more attentive and an important role is played by the shoes that you wear in the winter. In stores you can buy many different winter shoes: some studded, others made of material that does not slip, but these shoes are quite expensive (not everyone can afford it), and manufacturers do not always make these shoes with good quality. Today I want to tell you how to make a device myself that helps not to slip in the winter and feel more confident on the ice.
To adapt, you will need an old unnecessary car tire.
From it with the help of scissors you need to cut out such a device here:
Next, you need to do an awl or drill holes in the rubber for the spikes in rubber (observe safety precautions when working with sharp tools to avoid injury).
Next, insert the wallpaper nail into the hole made.
Now you need to make washers out of ordinary plastic. We cut out circles with a hole punch, which will serve as washers.
Then we pass these washers through the nail (do everything carefully so as not to get hurt).
The excess part of the nail needs to be cut, which we do:
Next, with the help of pliers, you need to “flatten” a piece of a peeling nail as shown in the photo.
This is done so that the puck does not come off the nail.
Such spikes need to be made at least 6. They will be located on the heel and toe of your shoes.
Now we put this device with spikes on the shoes:
It turns out not quite aesthetically pleasing, but it’s safe, although our device is not particularly visible.
