To disassemble the monitor you will need:
• Flat, cross-shaped and electrically insulated screwdrivers;
• Pliers and wire cutters, in order to cut the wires where necessary;
• Safety glasses and gloves;
• Box.

Step-by-step instructions for self-disassembling a CRT monitor:
We REMIND YOU THAT WHEN YOU DISASSEMBLE THE DISASSEMBLY, THERE IS PROBABILITY TO GET INJURY, SO PUT ON PERSONAL PROTECTION (GLASSES AND GLOVES) AND STRICTLY FOLLOW SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!
1. Lay the monitor face down. Unscrew all the bolts, immediately put them in a separate box, so that later, when assembling the house for the cat, you can easily fix them in place.
2. Remove the stand that the monitor used to stand on. Most often, the cover is removed by pressing the latch mechanism and the stand can be removed easily and without significant effort (carefully read the photo!)
3. Separate all the locks holding the two parts of the monitor together. Locks are most often located inside between the front panel and the back of the monitor.
4. Dismantling the cover, you will see a metal protective case. Remove it by unscrewing the bolts that secure it.
5. Disconnect all the wires that go to the picture tube that you see. Cut the wires that are soldered. Remove the bolts on the frame that secures the kinescope. Be sure to discharge the anode using electrically insulated screwdrivers connected by a wire. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY HOW TO DO THIS ON PHOTO!
6. Remove the circuit board from the bottom. Remove the screws holding the bottom and the circuit board.
7. Screw the bottom into place, connect the two halves of the monitor together.
Step-by-step guide on self-decoration of a house for a cat:
1. Cut out the bottom template using old magazines, in order to sew the litter to the cat. Circling the contour with a large margin, cut out two identical parts from the fabric. Remember to leave a seam allowance! Sew the two fabric parts with a sewing machine or manually, leaving about 10 cm of fabric unstitched. Fill the litter with padding polyester through this non-stitched part. Sew the litter completely, making fastenings for those places where the seam was broken.
2. Wash the case from the monitor, dry and degrease.
3. Draw the outline of your drawing with a pencil.
4. To paint over large areas, use spray paint; for smaller parts, paint in a tube is perfect (see photo).
5. Use ribbons, beads, shells, rhinestones according to your idea. They hold perfectly with epoxy glue.
