In order to make a mechanical pencil sharpener, you will need everything in the picture below:
- Soldering iron,
- glue gun,
- stationery knife,
- USB connector, (I used a ready-made USB connector with ready-made soldered wires, with a frame on a flexible basis, such a frame can be bought in the online store no more than 30 rubles)
- a plastic box (it is possible from another material),
- motor and sharpener
Instead of USB, you can also use a 4-5V power supply, but no more. (Otherwise, when sharpening a pencil, the sharpener will spin too fast)
STEP 1
Take the box and make two holes in it, one on one side for the wires (which will be soldered to the motor in the future), the second for the sharpener itself (I made a large one because the box is small and the sharpener hooks the box walls during torsion).
STEP 2
Solder the wires from the USB to the motor (only the direction of rotation of the rotor of the motor depends on the polarity). And do not forget to insulate the wires in order to avoid a short circuit.
STEP 3
Glue the sharpener to the motor with a glue gun. For reliability, you can glue with special glue "super moment for metal".
STEP 4
Gently stick our entire structure into the box, and fill it with a glue gun (Not much)
STEP 5 FINAL
Now just close the lid and test)))
