Carpathians usually have special plastic fasteners that serve to change leashes. The swivel assembly must be covered with a hard rubber bead. This method was taken from carp fishing. Also, such things are called "anthers." It needs to be pulled over the ring and the swivel knot, so the leash will not get confused through a piece of fishing line tied to the knot.
