The prototype of this original bunk crib is the famous bright red London bus. To build this exotic "sleeping vehicle", designed for children aged three to seven years, you will need the following tools and materials:
• unpainted MDF boards;
• felt;
• screws;
• reduced Forstner;
• baskets;
• miniature dressers;
• drill and screws;
• electric jigsaw;
• construction vacuum cleaner;
• paint.
Tips for Beginners
1. To fix the stop bar before cutting, first insert the saw blade into the outer right hole drilled in the window, closer to the edge of the saw, and with a moment clip fasten the bar to the right. After that, enter the saw in the left hole of the window and again clamp the bar. As a result of these actions, when cutting, you will get a straight and even cut.
2. Felt with a dense fiber structure is most conveniently cut on a solid substrate with a special roller knife, which is similar in shape and principle to a pizza knife. If you don’t have such a knife with a disk that rotates freely, cut the felt with large tailor's scissors, but in this case, the cut of the material will not be so even and accurate.

Operating procedure
1. Build the hood of this toy bus with MDF boards, to do this, cut out the parts of the desired size from the boards and glue them back to back. Place four baskets measuring 23 x 23 x 25 cm under the hood. Make the headlights of the bus from painted wooden discs.
2. Make the wings of the sleeping bus out of red plastic mini-chests of drawers for storing CDs. The size of each such box is 34 by 17 by 27 cm. Fasten the cladding plates to the bed frame with screws.
3. In order to mask the junction of the two cladding plates, lay a decorative strip painted white on the seam and screw it to the cot body.
4. On MDF boards, mark the location of the door and window openings.To ensure that the doors and windows of the bus are rounded, drill holes in the outlined corners with a 35 mm Forstner drill. This operation will also facilitate your further cutting.
5. To easily and evenly saw a plate, fix the stop bar on it so that the jigsaw file moves strictly along the marking line.
6. When all horizontal lines are sawn, make vertical cuts in the same way.
7. Using the upper mill, smooth the window edges. Dust, which in large quantities is formed during this operation, immediately remove from the working surface with a construction vacuum cleaner.
8. On the piece of felt from which you will make the door, paint glazing for textile.
9. After the paint dries, without reaching a knife to the end of the sheet, cut the felt door with even vertical stripes and fix it in place.
