Since the author has already assembled a maneuverable light pneumatic all-terrain vehicle, then this time decided to assemble a larger all-terrain vehicle. The author decided to use all-wheel drive and a frame of a design of a tipping type. The all-terrain vehicle was assembled for the most part for skiing in the snow, but should also be able to overcome water obstacles, swamps and other difficult road conditions.

Materials, parts and assemblies used to create this all-terrain vehicle:
1) internal combustion engine from an oka car
2) gearbox Oka
3) the steering column of the car Niva
4) hydraulic power steering from BMW
5) bridges from UAZ
6) wheels of size 1510 by 500 from Maz
7) profile pipe
8) plywood
9) vaz 2106 case

Consider in more detail the main components of the design of the all-terrain vehicle.

The frame of the all-terrain vehicle was cooked by the author independently from an ordinary profile pipe.

Kung machine was sheathed with sheets of plywood 6 mm thick, and waterproofed on top.
In the first low gear across the field, the car travels at a speed of about two or three kilometers per hour.

Disks for calipers from vaz 2108 were made:

The width of the disk turned out to be about 45 centimeters, and the thickness is similar to the disks from vases 2108.
The sleeve on which the brake disc is mounted is 8 mm thick. the support is fastened to a makeshift plate, which in turn is welded to the stocking of the bridge.

The all-terrain vehicle frame fracture assembly was designed by Uvat from a steering knuckle from an UAZ. Inside the fist, a CV joint from the cornfield was inserted.

Used two brook pulley:

Belt number: 10x8.5x850.

The pulley was made as follows: a short shaft stream was taken from a classic vase, a landing gear with a stream under the belt was cut from it on a lathe. The result is an outer F on both pulleys.

The front end of the all-terrain vehicle was largely copied and made from the base of the gas-53B. While the cabin itself is made from the rear of the VAZ-2106.

On an all-terrain vehicle, calipers from vases 2108 with 15-inch disks are installed.There are also caliper from the gazelle with standard UAZ discs, but the author refused to use them because the disc outage is too small. For drives that are mounted on an all-terrain vehicle, the offset is 100 mm from the seat to the inside of the bridge.

The wheels mounted on the all-terrain vehicle were taken from the military eight-wheeled Maz, which carried rockets.
Water Testing Machine:


During water tests, the car behaved well, but there were moments that the author decided to finalize. In particular, this is due to the balancing of the mass of the all-terrain vehicle by half frames.

The author has yet to work on the braking system of the all-terrain vehicle.
