Good day, dear guests of this site and regular users. Climbed sites looking for some interesting homemade for cottages and stumbled upon a pretty bold one, I would even say a creative idea. Many people, doing “corners of thoughtfulness” on their sites, don’t particularly bother - they will assemble a rectangular frame, dig a hole, install a roof, and that’s it! The toilet is ready. Simple, practical, fast and without troubles! But the author of this idea, which I want to introduce, went much further. At his site, he collected a toilet in the form of a carriage of the Catherine era! And it turned out quite an interesting builder, which I personally adopted for myself. But not for the toilet, but for the shower for the summer.
I will install a water tray, divide the room with a partition, and so on. This design provides not only a bio-toilet, but also a sink with a washbasin. For the construction, not so many materials were needed: wooden blocks, polycarbonate, lining and some ornaments, which the author “extracted” from foam plastic ceiling tiles. So look ...
To begin with, the frame of the future carriage is going. The lower part is the basis of the entire structure, the author’s made of thick boards in the form of an inverted letter "G". To give strength to the entire structure, the author sews these bases with a long stud with bolts. They fasten vertical racks for walls, doors, and also fasten boards that stand at a slight angle and in the future will give the carriage exactly the form that corresponds to our idea of carriages. At the top, all components are fastened together by transverse beams. Further floorboards are laid. The photo shows that the author adjusts the place where the bio-toilet itself will be located.
After the author has assembled the frame of the future carriage, he proceeds to wall cladding. He sheathes them with a lining. Leaves openings for windows. One will be in the door, the other in the wall of the carriage. So, step by step, the whole structure gradually takes the form of a familiar carriage, which each of us saw either in cartoons or in historical paintings.
The entire carriage base is made of wood. Glass is inserted into the windows.
It can be seen that the author of the idea was impatient while the carriage was completed and she decided to decorate it immediately, during construction)))
The next step is to make a ceiling. It is made of transparent polycarbonate. Then comes the turn of the wheels. The author of this building says that he made them himself. After the wheels were made, the structure was lifted, mounted on poles, and the wheels were hung using long hairpins. They are as if part of the structure itself, but at the same time they are an element of decor.
As can be seen in almost all the photographs, the author of the idea seriously got down to business and decorates the carriage. All the decorations that are installed on the sides of the carriage, on the door, are made of foam ceiling panels, from which all these patterns and animals are cut. A couple of lanterns were also bought, which in their forms resemble the lighting devices of past centuries.
To make the carriage more believable, goats were made on it, on which people who controlled horses used to sit. All this was also decorated with foam ornaments.
The suitcases were installed at the back, as if it were real baggage on a real carriage.
As mentioned above, a bio-toilet bowl was installed inside, as well as a sink with a washbasin. A hood is provided.
After all men's affairs were done, the author of the idea enthusiastically surrendered to the interior and exterior of the carriage. All jewelry is polystyrene, wire and jewelry (for the crown).
In the end, from the hands of the masters came out such an interesting, original and creative decoration of a summer cottage, bearing, in addition to everything, a payload!
Well, in the end, the author’s photo idea and "inspirer" during the construction of the carriage)
I wish you all good ideas and their speedy implementation!
