Description of the manufacture of a manual cultivator.
To begin with, the author began to search for information about various designs of homemade cultivators. Such information turned out to be quite a lot, he found both manual models and models of motorized cultivators, but settled on a simpler version of a manual cultivator.
Having decided on the choice, the author proceeded to assembling the bearing part of the cultivator. A profile of 3 by 2 cm and a length of about 30 cm was taken. In it, the author drilled a hole that will be used to set the axis of rotation of the wheels, then welded a piece of pipe to install a removable handle for the cultivator.
The next step, the author made several holes in the corner. This is to make it easier to mount various nozzles on the future cultivator.
After that, the corner was welded to the profile, and the author began to manufacture nozzles. The author decided to use a diamond wheel from a circular saw as a material for making the nozzle. The result was a kind of "knife" for loosening the earth.
The handle for the cultivator is removable, and fastened to a bolt.
In order to be able to use several different nozzles at once on this cultivator, the author decided to add another corner, with holes for attaching the nozzles. The corner was welded to the main structure, after which the author proceeded to testing his homemade cultivator.
According to the author, this cultivator can easily cut grass, uproot roots, and also has a very convenient and easy operation.
This model cultivator harvested do it yourself fully met all the expectations of the author and is periodically used by him for his intended purpose. In the future, the author is going to somewhat modernize the cultivator, as well as add even more different nozzles to it.
As you can see, the construction of the cultivator is quite simple and does not require special knowledge, so experiment and create your own models of cultivators.
