This article will discuss how to convert a blowtorch into an electric one. The author made a lamp as a gift for the new year.
Tools and materials:
-Light bulb;
-Cartridge;
-The wire;
-Electrical plug;
-Blowtorch;
-Soldering accessories;
-Super glue;
-Rubber bushings 10 mm;
-Drill;
- Drill 10 mm;
-Dremel;
-Screwdriver;
- Adjustable wrench;
Step One: Disassembling the Lamp
Parses a blowtorch, removes the torch.
Step Two: Preparing the Lamp
At the bottom of the lamp, drills a hole for the electrical wire. Installs a rubber grommet in the hole.
Removes the wick of the lamp.
Cuts off the nozzle of the burner hood.
Step Three: Soldering
Solder the burner hood into place.
Step Four: Installing Electrical Parts
Pulls the wire through the hole in the bottom of the lamp reservoir. Pulls the wire up through the hole of the remote wick. Mounts the cartridge, plug. The cartridge sticks to the burner hood with superglue.
The lamp is ready. Turns the plug into a power outlet and checks for correct assembly.
