Quite an unusual and at the same time easy to manufacture idea of creating a homemade shelf for shoes from a cardboard pipe. Such a shelf is perfect for those who have moved to a new home, but have not yet managed to carry with them furniture, or just for those who want something unusual for the interior of their hallway.

Description of the manufacture of shelves for shoes:
Step One: Cutting the pipe.
The main material for creating a shoe rack was a cardboard pipe, which can be purchased at any hardware store. Such pipes are often used in construction for pouring concrete. They are sold in sizes from 16 to 100 cm in diameter, therefore, you can easily choose the right pipe size to fit shoes.
Since the acquired pipes were 120 cm long, the author decided to cut them into 30 cm lengths. These segments will be original cells for storing shoes. Despite the fact that the pipes are quite durable, they are quite tolerably cut using an ordinary hacksaw.
Step Two: Gluing cells.
Further, a shelf is assembled from the obtained segments, as shown in the photographs. To fasten the cells together, the author used PVA glue. By gluing each cell to each other one after another, the result is an unusual shelf that is perfect for storing shoes.
Step Three: Staining.
Despite the fact that the cardboard pipe used to create the shelf is quite strong, still the dirt and water brought from the street can ruin its appearance. To protect the surface of the shelf from moisture, it was decided to paint it and varnish.
In principle, this can be done at any time, but for convenience and faster drying, the author recommends painting before the assembly stage, when all the cells are still separated from each other.
