Many motorists who are accustomed to repairing their iron horse themselves, know how to figure it out in order to sort out the suspension auto without special tools that are not used very often, but are not cheap. So the author made these screeds on his own.
Need a piece of pipe of the right size (the size depends on the thickness of your springs), the author came up with this
Cut it into 4 pieces of 4 cm and cut 1/4 part
clamped in yews
and with not strong blows of the hammer we achieve evenness of one edge
these should be 4 hooks.
Then we take a corner of a suitable size.
Also cut them into 4 pieces, 1 cm larger than the hooks
On one wall of the corner we drill a hole for the threaded rod m14 so that it would move freely.
We weld hooks and corners in this way, we get brackets.
Now the brackets need to be finalized using a pipe. (Since intermediate tests showed that the spring is able to unbend the angle used.)
About the rod: it must be lubricated with solid oil (otherwise the thread is eaten very quickly by the nut.)
Cut the pieces of pipe and weld.
Everything, the coupler for springs is ready.
