Hello everybody. VHF radio can be made even in a packaging case from expensive whiskey.
See what happened.
We take the VHF module.
Two speakers from an old laptop.
Two batteries with a charging unit, as it will be more convenient not to change the batteries but to charge them with mobile charging.
You will also need a telescopic antenna from some kind of transistor radio.
We install the batteries at the bottom of the case. We glue the antenna inside the case at the back, there it will not interfere with the VHF unit.
The VHF unit is installed in the upper part.
On the left, I installed two speakers.
I cut a hole for the antenna in the lid. And on the right I set the toggle switch off.
I didn’t make a hole for the charging unit under the lid, removed the lid and charged it. The packaging case of whiskey is made of metal, so that it does not get wet from rain, you can take it with you for fishing.
On two batteries at a volume of 10 units, this whiskey can sing for a week. I have 5 pieces of batteries installed in this case, if desired, up to 10 batteries can fit below.
It turned out a great birthday present for the mother-in-law.
