The author made this lamp based on the film "Christmas Story" directed by Bob Clark. The manufacture of the lamp is quite simple, and the cost of materials, for him, is not large.

Step One: Mannequin Training
Using a hacksaw, he adjusts the foot of the dummy to the size of the shoe. Removes weighting insert.
Step Two: Prop
Draws a circle on the board, Jigsaw cuts a circle. The ends of the support are polished. Preliminary outlines where the shoe will be attached. Frezoy makes a groove under the wire. Apply a coat of varnish.
Step Three: Bracket
A cartridge with a lampshade will be mounted at the top of the mannequin. From acrylic cuts the bar. Drills holes in the bar and on top of the mannequin. Fixes the bar to the mannequin with bolts. A hole is drilled in the middle of the bracket.
Step Four: Lampshade
On the lower edge of the lampshade glues a fringe.
Step Five: Build
Fixes shoes on a stand. Grinds the sharp edges of the mannequin. He puts a stocking on his leg. In the stocking makes a hole for the wire.
Stretches the wire. Connects and secures the cartridge. Screws in a light bulb. Secures the lampshade.
The lamp is ready. The author does not write whether he fastens his foot in the shoe. In my opinion, it’s better to fix it.
It is not difficult to make such a lamp yourself, for example, as a gift to your spouse March 8 or birthday, the main thing is to be able to explain to her where you got the black fishnet stocking from.
