Good day to all. We can learn how to make such a souvenir from one master.
For this homemade the author took a piece of wood.
And he made such a blank from it.
The tail and all the fins will be made of an aluminum plate.
Through the transfer paper he transferred the pattern to the plate.
Then he made a notch with a clerical knife according to the drawing.
Using an ordinary awl, he made the notches deeper.
Further, slightly curving the edges of the tail.
Treated it with sandpaper.
He made markings on a wooden blank.
And he drank it with a metal file.
Then with the usual hacksaw he made this cut a little wider.
I tried on the tail.
Glued it on an epoxy resin.
In a similar way, the author made the rest of the fins.
All fins except the pectoral ones, which are located in the area of the gills. He also glued to epoxy.
The head of the fish and scales, will make of copper foil.
The contour is applied to the foil using carbon paper.
And carved.
Leaning the head of the future fish to a wooden blank, the author noted the places where the fish would have lips.
And he cut the contours of the lips with a knife.
Then he applied glue.
And making not large slots around the perimeter, he glued his head.
Then he poured PVA glue into a bubble.
He added dry gypsum finish mixture to it and mixed well.
Putty with this mixture all the bumps and damage.
Removes excess with a sponge slightly moistened in water.
After it starts sticking scales, from the tail fin.
Gluing several rows of fine scales.
Makes the scales a little larger.
After sticking all the scales.
The author removed the protruding and dried glue with a screwdriver.
Eyes of the future fish, previously acquired in the needlework store.
I made holes for them of the right size.
And covered with stain.
Fins painted black.
I removed the excess paint with a rag dipped in a solvent. Paint will give homemade products more realism.
Then he applied several layers of varnish, and while the varnish dries, the master will make a stand for his goldfish.
To make it, the author bought artificial grass.
Cutting it into small pieces.
Groups them into small bushes, and wrapping them with a thread, impregnates them with glue.
Further, in a prepared board in advance with non-through holes, he glues the finished bushes.
It looks like a stand.
When the varnish dried, glued his eyes.
And two pectoral fins.
The master also installed a small plastic tube in the abdominal part of the fish, for attaching it to the stand, with glue.
Such a goldfish has turned out in our hero of today's article.
Thank you all and good luck. See you.
