I decided to tell you about another beautiful dynasty of Soaring aircraft models - Soaring.
The dynasty originates from the day when Sergey Alexandrov sent me the long-awaited drawings of the seaplane model. Rather, these were not drawings, but a drawing - a sketch of his project AL-310 Storm.
Unfortunately, model it was never raised to the sky due to the lack of a motor of the required power and traction.
As the saying goes: - "New - well forgotten old!"
Parsing his archive, after 6 years, he discovered the surviving drafts.
Thinking, I decided to build a new model for this project, the benefit is that all components were available.
I decided to build a model from sheets of expanded polystyrene, with a size of 1200 X 500 X 50 mm.
I put down the main dimensions right on the sketch and started construction.
The bearing plane had to be glued from two sheets.
I tried on, fitted them in place and pasted the keels.
Glued a support rack under the motor.
From below mounted side floats.
Mounted the side walls of the fuselage.

He built some cabin, cut it out of a bottle from soda and put a pilot in it, made of a piece of polystyrene and painted.
A lot of design work has been done. Servos, a motor are installed, traction is connected to the steering
surfaces.
This is how the model looks on the water.
So it looks on the ground.
A few photos after the evening flight.
A short video before the first flight. Checking the operation of the rudders and motor.
After several flights, I decided that the model is too heavy and decided to build a smaller model.
So there was a model "Soaring-3"
These models differ from each other in size and number of keels.
The next step in the modernization of this model was the emergence of the Soaring -4 model.
This model differed from the previous one in that it was made of a simple substrate under the laminate. Another experiment.
But I did not stop there and decided to make a completely lite model, so "Soaring-5" appeared
Granddaughter checks operation of BANO.
This model has not yet been tested.
I think the Soaring dynasty will continue.
